What¡¯s a cleaning card?
The cleaning card is a kind of consumable material card designed for the preventative maintenance of all card readers. Cleaning card can safely and quickly clean all dirt, smear and other contaminants built on reader heads and other components of electronic equipment and instrument. Usual cleaning by cleaning card will help prevent the damage of function disorder and control failure, help keep the equipment in optimal condition and reduce loss.
The cleaning card is consist of card substrate and cleaning layer with high absorption. Usually, the cards are pre-saturated by cleaning solution to get more excellent cleaning effect.
The Substrate is made from PVC or PET or ABS. The main function of this layer is for strengthening and stiffening the cleaning card. It is flexible but not fragile. We can print Logo and other contents for customers on this base card.
The Cleansing layer is made from a non-woven fabric or flocking. This layer is porous and has a good friction coefficient, which makes it a good dust-collector with a high adsorption capacity. Moreover, the fiber of the cleansing layer is very securely attached, so it will not add any secondary pollution to the equipment.
A Cleanser solution in the Cleansing layer contains a 99.9% isopropyl alcohol that can dissolve any concealed dirt. This solution has the following characteristics: anti-corrosives, anti-static, and evaporates readily at normal temperature.
ODM and OEM Service

Our raw material:Currently we adopt PVC as baseplate in our main products, PET and ABS are available.Most Cleaning layers material is non-woven fabric or flock-coating.Most packaging pouch is made of aluminum foil or compound material of paper and aluminum foil.
ODM: After receive your design, we will reply to you in two day whether we can come true. Then discuss with you about production and period, material and cost .Then confirm the final blue print, then samples are finished in ten days.
OEM: After receive your sample, we will reply to you in two days whether we can produce, or put forward our suggestion. Once understand your real intent, we will finished samples in ten days.
Why use a cleaning card?
In the daily usage of card readers, contaminants will pollute reader heads and other components from two sources. How to use a cleaning card?
To standard card reader cleaning card,you only need swipe the card reader as a common card,come- and-go several times,until no remaining contaminatio.Ig the card reader is too dirty,change a card and clean again.
To ATM cleaning card,this card can be inserted into ATM as a bankcard,then ATM will show "this is an invalid card" or "Don't deal with this card" or other similar notice. Then the card be returned.Then turn it around,repeat once.Until now,This cleaning card have finished a cleaning process.If necessary,change a new card and repeat again.
Can I use the card more than once?
Generally, you should not use a card more than once. Dirt and debris that is removed from a device should not be re-introduced to another device. Never re-use a card that is significantly dirty from removing contaminants through the first cleaning process. Although the cleaning card looks quite clean after the first use, it can be reused in an effort to loosen built up dirt, you should use new cards to ensure there minimal or no dirt remaining.
How often should I clean my equipment?
Usage rate, application type, and the external environment determine how often equipment should be cleaned. For external / high use terminals, daily cleaning is recommended. For internal / lighter use applications, weekly cleaning should be sufficient. Ultimately, you can record and analyze the results of each cleaning process and should create a cleaning schedule based on the amount of dirt and debris removed after each clean. |
